EXPANDED COURSE DETAILS

A 3.5 hour Instructor led, in-person class covering BLS CPR, Choking & AED use in the pre-hospital (field) & hospital setting for adults, children, & infants. 1 person & 2 person rescuer scenarios given. DVD video & hands on skills provided. Each student will receive a PDF copy of the BLS Provider Manual, their own personal pocket mask, & CPR keychain face barrier. A proctored written exam will be given. A BLS E-card will be issued upon passing & completion of the course. Certification is valid for 2 years.

The AHA BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals & other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills. 

The following groups would benefit greatly from this course: 

Nurses, doctors, cna's, emt's, paramedics, police officers, teachers, coaches, counselors, child care workers, caregivers, medical students, nursing students, public health workers, babysitters, & anyone else who works in a public/private setting w/ others.

A 5 hour, Instructor led, in-person class for AHA Heartsaver Certification for First Aid, CPR, & AED. Students receive education in first aid, AED use & CPR. Manikins, first aid supplies, & DVD video lessons will be provided. 

Each student will receive their own personal Heartsaver workbook, pocket mask, & wallet info cards.  A skills evaluation is conducted during the session. There is no written test - only skills evaluation.  Successful completion will result in a 2 year Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED certification eCard from the American Heart Association.  

Heartsaver courses are intended for anyone with LITTLE TO NO MEDICAL TRAINING who requires a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Child care providers, non-medical personnel, middle & high school students, care givers, & persons working with the public are just some of the many who can benefit from this course! Certification is valid for 2 years.

This Heartsaver course is specifically for school faculty, students 10 yrs+ & staff in the K-12 school system.  This course covers CPR, AED, & First Aid instruction for adults, children & infants.  This is an AHA Certified course. All participants will receive a student handbook, pocket mask, & cpr keychain!  An AHA E-Card will be awarded at the completion of the class valid for 2 years. STOP THE BLEED course for traumatic bleeding & injuries included at no additional cost!

This is a 2 hour, Non-Certified course for anyone interested in learning CPR & Basic First Aid based on AHA guidelines for Infants, Children, & Adults. DVD & Live skills instruction provided. All participants will receive a student handbook, Rescue Pocket Mask & CPR keychain!

This course is ideal for the general public, church groups, new parents, grandparents, babysitters, & others interested in learning how to respond to emergencies and potentially save a life!

Created by the American Academy of Pediatrics-BLAST!  (Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training) 

The BLAST program is exciting & interactive, providing extensive training in handling emergency situations, household safety, and the fundamentals of childcare. 

Course instruction includes:

• Implementing responsible babysitting
• Most current practices for safety & injury prevention while babysitting
• Infant bathing, feeding, & sleeping 
• Dealing with toddlers & tantrums
• Quick references tools for babysitters
• Making child friendly meals
• Heartsaver CPR/AED/FA Certification 
• Stop The Bleed® Training
• Designed for students ages 11 & older

The BLAST! program also incorporates interviewing for a babysitting job, selecting safe & suitable games/activities, preventing accidents, & implementing babysitting safely and competently.

Students will also complete the Heartsaver Pediatric CPR/AED/FA & Stop The Bleed course. Certification is valid for 2 years.  AHA E-card and BLAST! Certificate will be awarded at completion of course.

A 1.5 hour "in-between" refresher class to reacclimate a Current Certified Provider with hands on skills application for CPR/AED.  Updated 2020 AHA Guidelines reviewed, Heartsaver wallet info cards provided. All participants will receive AHA guideline handout, pocket mask, & cpr keychain!  This is NOT a certification class.

HeartCode BLS is a blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace. 

Students FIRST complete the ONLINE portion of HeartCode BLS, print off the certificate of completion and then come to the training center to complete a 1 hr hands-on skills session practice & checkoff with an AHA BLS Instructor.

Students may complete the online portion in the convenience of their home (or preferred location with internet access) . 2.0 Hour Online Course with 1 hour skills session included. 

Students who successfully complete Part 1 receive a certificate that allows them entrance to a skills practice and checkoff session. 

An AHA BLS E-card will be issued upon successful completion of ALL parts.
